The Men’s Ministry at Church of the Rock was founded on the tenants of service, spreading the Lord’s Word, feeding and mentoring other men. In our walk with Christ, we are called not only to serve others in need, but at the same time spread the Good News and Light that He brings to our daily lives. In order to be continually faithful to our Lord and Savior, we embrace the power of fellowship with other men, mentoring one another so that each member of the body contributes to the greater whole. The church of tomorrow is not bound by a building’s four walls, but exists in any place where more than one person gathers in His name.
We hold monthly meetings on the 1st Wednesday of every month (6:30pm-8:30pm) to keep the men abreast of current events but more importantly to mentor and feed one another to grow in the Lord. There are multiple church and community sponsored annual retreats such as Iron Sharpens Iron and the Men’s Fall Retreat at Singing Hills as opportunities for further growth in our walk with the Lord.
Weekly bible study groups and a host of other services are available for more one on one or small group options as well. In the community, we participate in larger non Christian events such as The Great Race and Half Marathon Raid Run (in St. Albans) as well as the NASCAR race (in Loudon, NH) to show our support to the local community, while allowing the light of the Lord and his servant attitude to shine brightly to all who participate and attend.
